About this PSA

More than a million households are at risk of eviction in New York. Rent relief is available to those who have struggled to pay rent during COVID-19 regardless of your immigration status. In fact, undocumented and mixed-status families who were previously excluded are now eligible. For assistance applying to for financial support, a group of nonprofits have created a new housing helpline- 212-298-3490- and webpage [bit.ly] for immigrant tenants to access additional information about the New York State Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) [otda.ny.gov] and FASTEN (Funds & Services for Tenants Experiencing Need) [projectparachute.nyc].

About the Organization

The campaign is a collaboration between six nonprofits representing legal services, community-based service providers, housing advocates, affordable housing providers, and philanthropy. The campaign partners include The Legal Aid Society, Enterprise Community Partners, Make the Road New York, RiseBoro Community Partnership, CAMBA, and the Robin Hood Foundation.
