As of June 2023, automatic renewals for Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, and Emergency Medicaid ended and regular renewal processes resumed. Renewing health insurance coverage in a timely manner is important for our community members in order to avoid a gap in coverage. At the moment, individuals should receive a notice at least 30 days prior to their renewal date. Make the Road New York members and allies are working together to ensure that millions of New Yorkers renew their health insurance.
