Accessible digital healthcare for caregivers
Creative + Strategy
Many caregivers, whether supporting children or adults, face challenges navigating online health resources due to language barriers, limited digital skills, or unfamiliarity with technology. This is especially true in Queens, one of the most diverse communities in the country, where many residents are non-English speakers.
To address these challenges, Connect to Your Health, a new program from Queens Public Library (QPL), offers guidance on finding trustworthy health information and using digital platforms responsibly, empowering participants to communicate and advocate for their own health and the well-being of their loved ones. The program is available in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Bengali to ensure accessibility for diverse communities.
F.Y. Eye collaborated with QPL to support the launch of Connect to Your Health, developing a suite of communications materials to market and distribute information about the program. By creating a visual identity that aligns with QPL’s branding while incorporating elements reminiscent of digital interfaces, the materials make the program feel approachable and easy to navigate. Clear, accessible language ensures that all community members, regardless of language or digital literacy levels, can engage with the resources and learn about the program.
Through our work, a range of materials—program flyers, FAQ documents, email graphics, and social media content—was developed to effectively reach and inform caregivers across Queens. Efforts like these highlight the importance of digital literacy and health access in strengthening community support networks. We remain committed to working with partners to ensure equitable access to information for all.
