F.Y. Eye is a nonprofit social impact media organization revolutionizing communications through the power of media, community, and art. F.Y. Eye founded and facilitates the Nonprofit Co-Lab, an innovative accelerator program designed to slingshot grassroots PSA campaigns with talented, focused energy. This unique program harnesses the transformative power of collaboration, where teams of advertising industry experts and socially engaged artists work alongside nonprofits to craft innovative awareness campaigns. We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Creative Project Manager to independently lead and oversee the development, coordination and execution of our Nonprofit Co-Lab program for our 2024/2025 cohort. In this 6-7 month consulting position, you will play a pivotal role in managing project timelines, fostering collaboration between nonprofit partners and volunteers, and ensuring the successful creation, development and delivery of creative campaigns aimed at addressing pressing social issues. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Project Coordination: You'll be the maestro behind the scenes, coordinating timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure smooth sailing.
  • Collaboration Facilitation: Building bridges between nonprofit partners, volunteers, artists and stakeholders will be your bread and butter. Your skills and knack for communication will keep everyone on the same page.
  • Campaign Development: From brainstorming sessions to design and strategy, you'll lead and oversee the creative process for each team from start to finish, turning ideas into impactful campaigns.
  • Deep Listening: Anticipating challenges and implementing solutions will be second nature to you, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Learning from each of the six Co-Lab sessions will be key. You'll gather feedback, evaluate effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Speaker Coordination: Coordinating speakers and presenters for program events, ensuring engaging and informative sessions for all participants.
  • Session Materials: Developing materials for each Co-Lab session, ensuring that all participants have the resources they need to succeed throughout each step of campaign development from behavioral science to design thinking.
  • Participant Accountability: Establishing clear expectations and mechanisms for all participants, holding everyone involved to high standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in independent project management in a creative or nonprofit setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with and leading creative teams, including designers, strategists, and other creative professionals.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit organizations and/or social impact initiatives.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Notion and Google Drive.
  • Passion for social impact and a commitment to advancing the mission of the Nonprofit Co-Lab initiative.

COMPENSATION:

Part-time contractor (10 - 15 hrs/week). We offer a competitive rate of $40 per hour; no benefits. We value work-life balance and aim for a flexible schedule.
