National Alliance on Mental Ilness of New York City (NAMI-NYC) provides a safe, supportive space for individuals navigating these challenges through their Living with Thoughts of Suicide support group, where participants can share in a safe space and learn strategies to manage their symptoms. They also support caregivers through their Family and Friends of People Living with Thoughts of Suicide group and Suicide Loss Survivors group, offering them a space to connect and find understanding.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City (NAMI-NYC) offers free mental health programs and community to anyone who needs them. They provide classes, 40+ support groups, family mentoring, a Helpline in 180+ languages, and more to families and individuals affected by mental health challenges. All of their resources are confidential and completely FREE, including all their support groups.
