Every day, the need for medically tailored meals and nutrition education and counseling for New Yorkers affected by illness only continues to grow. God’s Love We Deliver (GLWD) is the only food and nutrition services provider in the NYC area that cooks and home-delivers medically tailored and registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) designed meals that New Yorkers living with severe illness need.
Founded in 1985 as a response to the AIDS pandemic, God's Love We Deliver's programs now address over 200 individual diagnoses, such as cancer, heart disease and COPD, in addition to HIV. They continue to change to meet the ever-changing needs of New York City, expanding their services to individuals living with gestational diabetes, and former U.S. military members living with a chronic illness, mental health condition, and/or substance use challenges.
