God’s Love We Deliver (GLWD) is the ONLY food and nutrition services provider in the NYC area that cooks and home-delivers medically tailored – and RDN-designed meals – that New Yorkers living with severe illness need. Founded in 1985 as a response to the AIDS pandemic, GLWD addresses over 200 individual diagnoses, such as cancer, heart disease and COPD, in addition to HIV. They continue to change to meet the ever-changing needs of New York City, having expanded to serve individuals living with gestational diabetes and former U.S. military members living with a chronic illness, mental health condition, and/or substance use challenge, in the last two years.
